PostSubject: Winter Gloves   Fri Feb 05, 2010 8:28 pm

I have struggled to find winter gloves that fit me. My hands are so small that even XS's don't fit me. I have got a pair of summer gloves (Spidi) that fit perfectly but obviously too cold to ride in the winter. But funnily enough the Spidi in the winter glove is too big! This problem has meant that I can't ride in the winter.

Has anyone had the same problem? If so, have you had any luck finding gloves that fit? I've tried a million with still no luck. I did pick up at the bike show some cold killer undergloves that might do the trick, haven't tested them yet. Im so desperate I'm contemplating my ski gloves over my summer bikes ones.

I've managed to get made to measure leathers, but can't find any made to measure gloves.

hey shorty - it's just a question of trying loads of different ones as they're all different. I have a pair of small spidi gloves that were a total waste of money as i find they're too thick for me! Which spidi ones did you try? These are the 'fit for lady' ones with a little heart on.

I got a good pair of winter ones at the NEC year before last - only cheap too. How bout a pair of claw type ones? Either that or some muffs for your grips!
Before i had my winter ones (and even now occasionaly if its heavy rain) i put on a pair of latex medical gloves under my summer ones -you'd be amazed how well they work - i rode nearly 3 hours in absolutely torrential rain on the motorway last year and when i got home the only things dry were my hands!

Only other thing i can suggest is a set of thermal inners for your gloves

My Spidi's are lady fit, but summer ones and they fit really really well. Muffs? Ooooh I couldn't. lol. I have got some cold killer undergloves that I picked up at the bike show yesterday, haven't had a chance to test them out yet.

I have the same problem. XS hands (and feet). I wear summer gloves all year round but this year have fitted the heated grips I got for Xmas last year. Makes one hell of a difference.

I'm a size 3 and half foot size. Most ladies biker boots start at 5! And then there's the added problem of being so short that my calves start a lot lower which means getting bike boots (and fashion boots) to fit is a bloody nightmare. SQUEEEEEEZE! But against all the odds.... I'm riding. Even after some idiot salesguy in a Yamaha dealer told me that I would NEVER ride a bike and was wasting my money and wouldn't even help me find boots, took one look at me and said, we can't help you. I felt like Julia Roberts dressed like a hooker in a posh boutique in Pretty Woman. Maybe I should take my new bike back and do the whole 'BIG MISTAKE' on his ass! Very Happy

I understand your problems with gloves.........I have major problems too, just not the same......long fingers and thin palms........ladies gloves the fingers tend to finish 1/2 inch short and mens gloves the palms are too big
my glove size is small just need extra long fingers

have wide feet so cannot get into a ladies boot and not many go to size 8/9 anyway

infact ladies gear is made for anyone of 5ft 3 -5ft 6.............that is the only size women are in the real world ....NOT

I see all these ladies that fit that image and they look great in well fitting stuff and I just look like ..................a man with tits

so if any of you ladies know of a maker of bikeware for ladies that allows for women of almost 6ft or makers of bikegear for the deformed, do let me know
