Hi all,

I went to the NEC bike show today and had a quick chat with a lovely lady from hottrax motorcycle events. I mentioned the forum to her and I mentioned maybe organising a women only track day. I just thought I would come on here and figure out whether people are interested in this and if so how many. The numbers would need to be around 20-40 ladies and I would imagine the trackday would be on a track around the midlands, maybe Mallory park or Cadwell.

So what do you all think and if you are interested pop yourself on the list and I will let Hottrax know if we can get the numbers up.

not for me thanks zobers - only having the one bike i can't afford to drop it and as track days aren't covered by insurance thats me out - in any event i'm too chicken - especially if it was at cadwell which is challenging apparently at the best of times according to those in the know which ain't me lol

If you do go to cadwell tho i'll pop up and wave at you all

Being a little thick here what does it involve?

Half of me is going Ooooo wow that sounds so exciting and the other half is laughing, insanely, out loud at the though of me racing round a track.

Your not being thick. Basically you pay to ride around a race track, it means you can actualy ride your bike without the worries of traffic coming the other way, pedestrians and police. Generally they are separated into novice, inters and advanced. You get about 20mins a go on the track and there are around 4 sessions. It's up to you how fast you ride and there is no pressure unlike some of the race days you can do. Really hope this helps.
